Goodbye March, welcome April. Wow... What a month for the blog! March 2024 a lot of things happened. I relaunched the blog and it has grown bigger than expected, reaching 46 countries and catching the eye of some major brands.
Also my Instagram @makeupbyatm IS NOW VERIFIED! ( A lot is going to happen.)
I've decided to do a little monthly roundup at the start of each month, highlighting the key positives and any exciting news that will be happening. (More of a personal touch , rather than a formal one... let's face it, I am not a serious person.)
In terms of the blog, I wrote articles on Irish tanning brands for St Patrick's Day. Debunking skin care myths and the truths about some brands... *side eye*... Drunk Elephant. Who actually read my blog! My posts got attention from brands as such as L'Occataine, bBold, Sol De Janeiro, which my latest post is about their new amazing range. Check it out !
bBold have given me a 15% off code "AMY-TERESAM". I was a bBold affiliate back in 2020, I loved trying all their products. I'm currently wearing their original serum tan on my holiday, I love that about bBold that it will last all week and not crack or fade like I mentioned in my St Patrick's Day article.
My blog secured it's first brand collaboration, an amazing brand reached out to me and products are being sent out and that review will be underway. It is a brand that I have never tried before and I can not wait. Things like this, I have watched on Tik Tok and have always wanted to be a part of it. I did do a little bit of reviewing during lockdown but, not like this. Watch this space!
I also turned 22 this day last week. Shoutout to my little sister Rebecca, it is her 16th birthday today. I love you loads, you wee legend. Can't believe it's been 16 years since I was an only child. Those were the days. Who else would poke fun at every outfit I own?
I had a lovely birthday celebrating with my nearest and dearest. Completely spoilt by my amazing family and by my friends in work. My first birthday working. This adult life, having to work on your birthday but I loved it. My fur baby getting to taste the cake first. She loves to be the centre of attention.
Now I am in Amsterdam for the week with my friends for an amazing Girl's trip. Nothing like the movie. When I get home, I don't want to ever see another cocktail again. Notebook filled with ideas for new articles that will be written and posted in April. My friends have gave me great ideas to explore.
